Brunch was a great way to start off the weekend. There were a lot of tasty options, but I chose to order the Chicken and waffle sandwich! It was really good. The decor is set in the Victorian era. Upon entry and check-in at the resort, visitors will be captivated by the lobby, which resembles a train depot with long wooden benches, is replete with turn-of-the-century artifacts including vintage coin-operated slot machines and apothecary cabinets. Last night we tried Hakkasan at the MGM Grand for the first time. There were four of us, so we ordered 2 tasting meals for variety. Pictured are the dumplings we received as the first course. The dumplings consisted of scallops, prawns, shrimp&chive, and chicken. This was just the start of the 3 course meal. Everyone in our group counted this as the highlight of our trip so far. It showcases experiential and technology driven works by artists who are forerunners of the new age in the arts and technology. It’s a fun activity for kids and adults and we recommend adding it to your list of activities to do in #dc. I recently visited #orangebeach in Alabama the week after Labor Day. The weather was great, so there were a lot of people on the beach. Someone fed the seagulls this which was a huge mistake.
